Welding - All Materials and Processes
Fully coded in Stick (SMAW).
I can also weld in TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Flux Core (FCAW). Carbon steel, stainless, hardox & aluminium. Procedures can be written & arranged if required -
Hard Facing & Wear Protection
Hard-facing for buckets, cutting edges, and high-wear components. Get more life out of your plant.

Fabrication & Custom Builds
Walkways, platforms, handrails, guards, tanks - built to spec or sketched on a bit of cardboard. Workshop or on-site.

Plant Repairs & Maintenance
Boom cracks, bucket wear, worn lugs, split plates - Full repairs, reinforcement, and reworking done properly.

Pin Removal & Exothermic Cutting
Stuck pins, seized bushings - no problem. Exothermic cutting gear makes short work of the stuff gas axes won’t touch.

Arc Air Gouging
Quick, controlled removal of damaged welds, cracked areas, or prep for rebuilds.

Line Boring
Portable line boring available for worn pivot points, bores, and lugs. Restores worn equipment back to tolerance so you’re not shelling out for new gear.

On-Site or Off-Site Work
JAS has a full mobile rig for site work - including generators, welders, air tools, and PPE. Available for one-off repairs, regular maintenance or longer-term contracts.
